Some of you may not agree, but from my perspective—especially now that I've recognized some of the ways in which I have been conditioned and brainwashed throughout my own life—the LGBTQ movement (and anyone who has ever and will ever question their own sexuality, gender, orientation, etc.) are here to teach us about the many different types of love that exist (which helps to develop more refined discernment and compassion), and about accepting those who happen to be born "different" than the majority of human beings (and we can all be born "different" in other ways, too; it doesn't have to have anything to do with our sexuality). In order to cover this topic in the ways I feel compelled to, I first want to go into more detail about masculine and feminine energy because each of our souls is made of BOTH and energy itself has no gender. What is an eternal soul? Energy. Love and light. Not gender or prejudice, bigotry, judgment, fear, or hatred of something we do not understand. I invite you to join me as we explore some of the ways in which this movement is actually helping our eternal souls evolve by opening up and expanding our consciousness surrounding the topic of love and what it "should" look like.

We all love to play with the idea that we are creating our own reality, but how much of your own reality are you actually creating consciously? When it comes to the law of attraction and learning how to manifest your desires on purpose, there can be a period of learning and finding your own groove to fall into any time you want or need something in your everyday life. Remember, the things you choose to manifest don’t have to be anything in particular, nor do they have to be something you see as “big” or “small;” your perceived “size” of the desire you have is only your opinion and may serve to hinder your progress rather than help it, simply because many of us might consider anything we’ve never asked for before to be “big,” but asking for things we have never had is kind of the point, so you can see how finding and maintaining your emotional and energetic balance can be interesting to settle into.
What do you do that sets your soul on fire? Do you love something so much that time disappears and you sometimes can't remember where these creations even came from or how they almost magically appeared complete before you? If this is something you've experienced at any point in your life, look back on it. What were you doing that was so magical? How were you expressing yourself? These are some questions that can help you to determine what you're really passionate and excited about, although exploring different activities and interests can also help with that. If you already know what inspires you, what you're passionate about, then it's important to do that thing (or those things) on a regular basis to keep your system in the flow as much as possible. This is a practice of inspiration; of "following your bliss" to ultimately live a healthier, happier, and more fulfilling life. It doesn't matter whether anyone else likes what you're doing or not... this is all about you, only you, tapping into your inspired state of being and getting better and better at doing so. This allows you to become more focused and productive, and there are a few ideas I'd like to share with you about this topic. Read on for more... and to hear an original song by yours truly =).
Having been an incurable optimist pretty much from birth, I’ve often wondered why some people are naturally more optimistic while others are pessimistic, cynical, or find a problem for every solution. I’m absolutely certain that this is not a thought or question that is unique to me, so I want to explore some of the facets of optimism, the benefits of looking on the bright side, and how you can begin to create an intentional practice of optimism if you choose to do so. Any time you decide to change your thought patterns through breakthroughs or epiphanies, you create new connections within your brain, neuroplasticity increases, and your external world changes in its physical manifestation; that is to say, when you choose to see the light rather than staying fixed upon the dark, your external world shifts itself to become a better match for your new inner outlook. Choosing a daily inner practice of optimism is like choosing to turn on a light in a darkened room, illuminating everything and allowing you to increase your level of consciousness and understanding in a loving, beautiful, and healthy way.
When you make the decision to work toward a particular goal, dream, or desired outcome, it can often happen that everything falls apart around you and you end up feeling trapped or stuck in undesirable conditions, all the while wondering what in the world you did to deserve so much contrast (especially if it comes after you chose to better yourself or overcome an addiction). Those thoughts won’t help you, although this can be interesting to realize while you’re in the midst of the chaos and anxiously awaiting the calm.
It can be difficult to maintain compassion for “normal” or “regular” people when it feels like they are purposely remaining ignorant within the matrix, almost as if they are blatantly refusing to lift the veil for themselves. This can be frustrating, to say the least, especially if you’re in the emotional purging process of awakening, which brings with it a need to clear your chakras, set boundaries, and fully express yourself from a soul level. However, you cannot force an awakening on anyone else—although you can help if you choose to and they are ready, which they may or may not even realize they are—and if you’re feeling frustrated with people in general, this is a good indicator that you may be trying too hard to “make” them see your newly awakened perspective. Unfortunately, this is more likely to drive wedges between you than bring you together, and when you first begin waking up, it’s pretty common to get angry about the state of the world and the humans within it, especially when you begin to learn about just how deep the corruption runs. Like everything else, though, it is your responsibility to move past this type of thinking and adjust your attitude toward your fellow human beings to understanding rather than judgment. This is one of your ego’s efforts to keep its hold on your consciousness, and unfortunately it can have you behaving in ways that can come across as arrogant and closed-minded, which is not what a spiritual awakening is about.
Loneliness is a common emotional state when you’re going through a spiritual awakening, simply because you start feeling like all of the work you’re doing and breakthroughs you’re having are minimized by the still-unconscious people around you. It feels very alone, like no one cares about your progress, and like you’re facing this massive, uncertain shift all by yourself, without even so much as a friend to talk about it with in many cases. Small talk, conversations about money and the crap people buy, and pretty much all other everyday topics stop being interesting to you. You feel the need to dive much deeper, and the people in your immediate vicinity may or may not be capable of joining you at that depth. Even if they are capable, they may not want to simply because it forces them to take a closer look at their own lives, habits, and perceived flaws in an indirect way. Most unconscious people are not ready for this, which can make things very uncomfortable and further compound your sense of loneliness and abandonment.
Inspiration can be a fickle and indecisive lover. She never seems to want to grace you with her presence when you have the time to give her your undivided attention, but the second you’re driving or in the shower, she wants to come out and play. You feel amazing, keeping the idea in mind and allowing your thoughts to run with it with some limitations due to your circumstances and vowing you’ll write this idea down the moment you have access to a pen and paper or can focus on your phone without crashing your vehicle. Without fail, you’ll be determined and convinced that you’ll remember, but when the pen and paper appear in front of you, the idea is nowhere to be found. You rack your brain frantically only to come up empty. What if I told you that you could tap into inspiration any time you choose to because inspiration comes directly from your inner being or soul, and what you’re tapping into is really Source energy? Let’s explore this concept of inspiration more fully and cover a few ideas for getting inspired on purpose, anytime you want to, by aligning yourself with the vibrational frequency of inspiration.
It is only when we begin to understand that our inner world creates our outer world that we can truly allow ourselves to take full responsibility for our lives as a whole. Why is this? It is my opinion, as seen through the lens of my current knowledge and understanding, that we are fearful of taking this level of responsibility on a very deep, subconsciously conditioned level because we realize -- consciously or unconsciously -- that we must then face ALL of our dark inner shadows and deeply rooted belief systems that do not originate from our true selves: our souls. This means that we must learn to accept and love ourselves completely, on all levels, and unconditionally, which includes those parts of us that we may label as, "bad," or, "negative." After continuous learning and research into this particular flavor of topics, I have come to understand this idea on a deeper level. Where at first I thought that this meant digging up and rehashing old mistakes, regrets, and difficult experiences to feel the pain again and then try to let go of it, the actual meaning of this is far deeper than that, and I'm certain I will uncover deeper meanings still as this awakening process continues.
When I was younger, I had an incredibly spiritual experience after consuming an entire bottle of Robitussin (I do NOT recommend this, btw... it was extremely overwhelming and strange and unbalanced overall). As I fell asleep, my dreams in my subconscious mind continued to be influenced by this substance, though most of it had worn off already. Here's what happened.
